Brilliant Black BN, are designed to impart a deep black color to various materials. Brilliant Black BN is a synthetic black diazo dye. Its chemical formula is C28H17N5Na4O14S4. Application :

Brilliant Black BN has been used in micronucleus and comet assays.
It is used as a quenching agent in calcium mobilization assay.
