Direct blue 71 is a dark blue colored powder. Direct blue 71 is an azo dye with three azo bonds. Its chemical formula is C40H23N7Na4O13S4. Direct blue 71 is also known as Sirius Light Blue BRR; Solantine Blue FF. Application :

Direct blue 71 is useful to stain membrane-immobilized antibodies and proteins for the investigation of antigen-antibody interactions.
