Description

Neutral Red Certified CAS: 553-24-2 | MF: C15H17ClN4 | MW: 288.78, Buy Histological Stains & Dyes for Histology, Cytology, Microbiology, Hematology & Biology Lab from TriStains.

Neutral Red Certified is a high-purity crystalline powder that looks black-brown to dark green in its solid state, and turns to a bright red solution when dissolved in water. Its chemical formula is C15H17ClN4 and is considered a water-soluble dye. Neutral Red Certified finds application in both staining and labeling methods, as an indicator of the preparation of neutral red paper, as well as a biological stain. It is a bright red nitrogen-based substance that is an efficient pH indicator in cell culture and histological research. Neutral Red Certified has been appreciated by researchers because of its capacity to penetrate cell membrane leading to the visualization of living cells and proper evaluation of cell viability.

Applications

  • Neutral Red Certified has been applied as a staining solution in microplankton and mesoplankton samples.
  • It has found use in biological research as a staining dye of nematocytes.
  • It is a stain that appears in the cytoplasm of the cells, increasing the contrast and thus making the cellular structures explicit.
  • It finds many applications in cell viability tests.

Key features

  • High-Quality: A viable cell-specific biomarker with very high specificity.
  • Versatile and Stable: Shows great stability and stable performance in different lab conditions.
  • Cost-Effective: Has competitive prices without reducing the quality or efficiency of staining.
